ANLA
The American Nursery & Landscape Association (ANLA) is a nation-wide association established over 132 years ago. Members grow, distribute, and retail plants of all types, and design and install landscapes for residential and commercial customers. ANLA provides education, research, public relations, and representation services to members. This support enables members to operate more effectively and to provide the public with quality plants, landscape design and installations, and related products and services.
Arbor Day Foundation
The Arbor Day Foundation inspires people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees.
Each year, the Ohio Nursery & Landscape Association (ONLA) sponsors a statewide poster contest for fifth grade students in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation. Coinsiding with a curriculum on the beauty and envoronmental benefits of trees, students create poster art to be submitted to the contest. One winner is selected by the ONLA to represent Ohio in the nationwide Arbor Day Poster Contest. The Tree Benefit Calculator allows anyone to make a simple estimation of the benefits individual street-side trees provide. This tool is based on i-Tree’s street tree assessment tool called STRATUM. With inputs of location, species and tree size, users will get an understanding of the environmental and economic value trees provide on an annual basis.

Ohio FFA Foundation
The Ohio FFA Center is incorporated with the state of Ohio and is governed by a board of directors. It is an affiliation of the Ohio FFA Association and the Agricultural Education Service, Division of Career-Technical and Adult Education and the Ohio Department of Education. The overall focus of the center is to enrich the agricultural education and FFA program in Ohio.
PLANET
The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) is an international partner association with the ONLA. PLANET serves lawn care professionals, landscape management contractors, design/build/installation professionals, and interior plantscapers. PLANET provides its members with a good business foundation to help them evaluate, plan, and better manage their companies. Member firms have direct access to marketing tools, industry specific business publications, updates on legislative issues, and networking opportunities that can assist them in becoming more profitable.
